EAST PRAIRIE -- Howard L. Adkisson, 97, formerly of Benton, died at 5:25 p.m. July 16, 2012, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Wednesday until service time at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Joyce Story will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
