BLOOMFIELD - Raymond Duke Jr., 80, died July 15, 2012, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Feb. 7, 1932, in LaForge, the late Raymond Sr. and Oma Meredith Duke, he had lived in Belleville, Ill.. and New Madrid County most of life and recently moved to Bloomfield. He was a member of the Mormon Church and was employed with Riceland Foods, retiring in 1994.

On Jan. 7, 1950, in Piggott, Ark., he married Velma Carroll, who survives of Bloomfield.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, James Ray and Linda Duke of Dexter and Louis Wayne and Nancy Duke of Puxico; three sisters Ann Papproth of Bowling Green, Ky., Anita Renard and Lillian "Tiny" Cross of San Antonio, Texas; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Roger Duke; one daughter, Raymona E. Duke; and two brothers, David and Danny Duke.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield until time of memorial services at 11 a.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood.
