LEAWOOD, Kan. -- Jeffrey Don "Jeff" Lincoln, 51, died July 13, 2012, at Menorah Hospital in Overland Park.
Born May 25, 1961, in Indianapolis, son of Don and June Lincoln of Dexter, Mo., he attended the Dexter School System and graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in health service management. He lived in Dexter from 1961 to 1982. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and is an Order of the Arrow member of the Boy Scouts. He was the regional manager of several residential care and independent living communities for the Tutera Family Group of Overland Park.
His wife, Susan Lincoln, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Garrett and Dillon Lincoln; three stepdaughters, Kelly Akers and her husband, Jim, Lauren Shay and Shelby Shay; a sister, Diana Lincoln of Dexter; and his mother- and father-in-law, Ron and Judy Pearson of Overland Park.
A memorial service was conducted today in Overland Park.
Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Dexter. The Rev. Don Kennedy and the Rev. Amy Foley will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
