Father now faces charges in daughter's shooting

Bobby Cantrell, the father victim, was charged late Monday with first degree endangering the welfare of a child, a class C felony.

According to Lt. Jim McMillen, Sikeston Department of Public Safety information officer, a 12-year-old boy, the victim's brother, will face charges of first degree assault and armed criminal action through the Juvenile Court. Authorities did not release the boy's name.
