MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Bradford M. Shain Sr., 79, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died May 24, 2012, at Memphis University Hospital.
Born March 10, 1933, in Sikeston, to the late Willard "Bill" and Violet Hitt Shain, he attended Sikeston High School and served in the U.S. Army in the early '50s. He worked for over 40 years in manufacturing management and had been employed by the Anchor Toy Factory in Sikeston where he was the plant manager. After retiring, he worked as a security guard at a retirement center in Memphis.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Gary Johnson; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Janice Shain Jr.; one brother, Tom Shain; and five grandchildren and one stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Shain, Larry Shain and Wendell Shain.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston with Harry Sharp III officiating.
The High Point Funeral Home in Memphis was in charge of arrangements.
