BELL CITY -- Lula F. Mansfield Maestas, 80, formerly of East Prairie, died July 28, 2012, at her home.
Born March 19, 1932, in the Barnes Ridge community near East Prairie to the late Charles and Ruby Bowles Mansfield, she was a retired seamstress and riverboat cook for Luhr Brothers in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the Perkins Baptist Church.
She is survived by: four sons and a daughter-in-law, Rodney Williams of Anniston, Jerry Williams of Advance, Joe Williams of West Plains and Ed and Maria Moorefield of East Alton, Ill.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Franna Everly of East Prairie and Annette and Jeff Tanner-Camp of Jackson; and 17 grandchildren and 12 great--grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Williams, one daughter Karen Hawkins Edwards, three brothers, Charles Mansfield, Buck Mansfield and Jerry Mansfield, and five sisters, Inez Collins, Margie Wilson, Della Russell, Nadine Brasher and Edna M. Wilson.
Visitation is scheduled after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Brian Gill officiating.
Burial followed in the Dogwood Cemetery.
