PARMA -- Robert L.C. Tilson, 82, died July 30, 2012, at his home.
Born Dec. 16, 1929, in Earle, Ark., to the late Robert and Eula Butler Tilson Sr., he was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Parma and had been employed as a truck driver with Ohio Pacific Transportation.
In January 1978, at Bloomfield, he married Arletha McBride who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Otis Johnson and George Jackson of Atlanta and Larry Williamson of Memphis, Tenn.; one daughter, Maudessa Rose of Naperville, Ill.; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Lewis Jackson and Robert Williamson Jr., and one sister, Derotha Kirkwood.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Reginald Johnson, minister, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.
