MALDEN -- At the Bootheel Youth Museum, children can be a doctor, astronaut and firefighter all in the same day.
"If you're looking for a fun day with the family, then we're the place to go," said Patsy Reublin, executive director of the museum. "We have a lot of people who don't expect to find anything like this."
The museum has a wide variety of exhibits and activities that children can participate in during their visit.
For example, the museum has a firehouse that children can climb into and explore in addition to a fire truck used by the Malden Fire Department in 1927, said Lauren Collins, a staff member at the museum.
