OWENSVILLE - Aubrey Dean "Arb" Cox, 76, formerly of

Sikeston, died Aug. 5, 2012, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

Born Oct. 4, 1936, in Sikeston, to Alton Greenville and Mary Alice Williams Cox, he retired as a manager with General Motors in the St. Louis area. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

On May 20, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., he married Loretta "Sue" Pace, who survives.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Aubrey "Lee" and Katheryn Cox of Ballwin, and Jimmy Dale and Pam Cox of Owensville; two brothers, Doug Cox of Canton, Texas, and Joe Yant of Morehouse; two sisters, Verna Davis of Sikeston and Sue Little of Garland, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother, three sisters, and a Ugranddaughter.

Services were conducted today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.

Burial with full military honors followed in the Lightner Cemetery.
