CHAFFEE -- Larry Gene Sprenger, 68, died Aug. 6, 2012, at his home.
Born July 24, 1944, in Dutchtown, to the late Robert and Gladys Lucille Sprenger Lincoln, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a funeral director at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 1968 until he retired in 2002. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee and a member, past president, past vice president and 20-year board member of the Horseshoe Bend Fishing Club.
On Oct. 30, 1971, he married Evelyn Horn who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one brother, Lynn Lincoln of Chaffee; one nephew, Darren Lincoln of Chaffee; one niece, Samantha Lincoln of Chaffee; and one great-niece, Addison Lincoln of Chaffee.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Gary Hoffstetter officiating.
Burial with full military honors provided by the Missouri Honor Guard will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
