Back to school prep

Wednesday, August 15, 2012

City of Sikeston employees Darrin Martin, lead worker (left); Chuck Bolen, skilled worker (middle); and Jeff Archie, lead worker, refresh a crosswalk at the corner of Twitty and Ables streets in Sikeston using high-intensity, self-adhesive tape. The city workers on Tuesday taped several crosswalks near Sikeston High School in preparation of today's first day of school for Sikeston R-6 students. According to City of Sikeston Street Superintendent Steve Lee, the tape is "cost effective, looks good and lasts for 10 years."
