ESSEX -- Grover Cleveland Lynn, 68, died Aug. 15, 2012, at his home.
Born June 3, 1944, in Winfield, Ala., to the late Johnny and Mae Nix Lynn, he was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center and had worked as a mechanic at G and S Auto.
On Sept. 2, 2005, in Jasper, Ala., he married Paula June Rush who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Ted Lynn of New Mexico; two daughters, Anna Keaton of Nauvoo, Ala., and Lisa Mishelle Ngige of Jasper, Ala.; two stepsons, Chris Jordan of Charleston and Michael Jordan of Columbia; one stepdaughter, Kay Kevitt of Dexter; three brothers, Johnny Lynn II of Winfield and Herbie Lynn and Jerry Lynn of the state of Texas; and three sisters, Pat Gann and Pangie McCluskey of Athens, Ala., and Dianne Cole of Guin, Ala.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Smith Stevenson Cemetery.
