TEBBETTS -- Kenneth O. Morse, 71, died Aug. 24, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia.
Born Aug. 22, 1941, in Morehouse, son of the late Orlin and Mary Farris Morse, he had retired from the Callaway County Sheriff's Department and owned Ken's Archery in Fulton. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Morehouse.
On Oct. 27, 1977, he married Ethel Drummond Weil Morse who survives.
Other survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Kenny Lee Morse and his friend, Melissa Strange, of Mexico, David A. Morse and his friend, Sarah Oshima, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kevin and Gretchen Morse of Cape Girardeau and Robert Watkins of Sikeston; two step-sons, T.J. Weil of Tebbetts and Arthur Weil of Jefferson City; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was also preceded in death by two daughters, Karla Fay Kay and Angie Watkins, one brother, Richard Morse, and one sister, Orlinda Morse.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with Mark Sutton and the Rev. Rick Conley officiating.
Burial will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
