PADUCAH, Ky. -- Charles Everett "Chuck" Masters Jr., 69, died at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 24, 2012, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Born in Crowder, Mo., he was the son of Helen Graham Masters of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Charles Everett Masters Sr. He was a former resident of Sikeston where he was a 1962 graduate of Sikeston High School. Charlie had retired as a salesman for Prudential Insurance of Paducah. He was involved with Boy Scouts of America and Boys State and Nation. He was an active member of Masaac United Methodist Church in Paducah and served in the U.S. Army.
His wife, Mary Ann Stevens, preceded him in death.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a special friend, Fay Carter of Lone Oak.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7 p.m. today at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Ron Spell will officiate.
Memorial services will also be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Massac United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Smithmier and Ron Spell officiating.
