SIKESTON - The search continues for a Sikeston man wanted in a shooting.

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety acquired Scott County warrants Monday for Cortne Mantez Beasley, 25. Beasley is charged with three counts of first degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.

The charges stem from an incident which began around 6 p.m. Sunday when DPS received a call in reference to shots fired at Roberta Rowe Park near Washington and Alabama streets in Sikeston. According to Lt. Jim McMillen, DPS public information officer, two subjects at the park got into a confrontation with several subjects nearby.
