FREDERICKTOWN -- Surrendering five runs in the final three innings on Wednesday the Scott City Lady Rams fell 8-5 to host Fredericktown.
Three runs by the Lady Blackcats in the bottom of the fifth gave them the lead once again and another two in the sixth pushed them ahead 8-4.
Leading Scott City's offensive effort was Alexis Spriggs as she went 2 for 4 with a home run and four runs batted in. Becky Burger, Macy Hall, Julie Holder and Lindsey Rendleman added a hit each to Scott City's cause, including a double by Hall.
Now at 2-4 on the season, the Lady Rams will host the Poplar Bluff Lady Mules today at 4:30 p.m.
DELTA -- The Chaffee Lady Devils earned their third win Wednesday pelting Delta 12-2 in five innings.
Hailey Enderle got the win for Chaffee throwing all five innings, striking out five and walking none.
Julia Sutterfield led the Lady Devils with three hits including a triple. Kaitlin McFerron, Cierra Crites, Carleigh Burnett and Stevie Schrum each had two hits apiece.
Chaffee (3-3) hosts Oran today at 4 p.m.
