DEXTER -- Clorine Shipman, 89, departed this life on Sept. 17, 2012, in the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born on Aug. 25, 1923, in Powe, daughter of the late Bill and Lucy Livingston Williams, she was a housewife, affiliated with the Church of Christ and a resident of Dexter.
On May 11, 1940, in Dexter, she married Willie Andrew Shipman who preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.
Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee Shipman, two brothers, Raymond Williams and James Williams, one sister, Marie Allstun, and one granddaughter, Darla Kay Shipman.
Survivors include: one sister, Theoda Litzler of Stephens City, Va.; two grandsons and their wives, Bobby and Rhonda Shipman and Rick and Barb Shipman; four great-grandchildren, Brent Shipman, Cody Shipman, Bud Shipman and Gracie Shipman; and one great-great-granddaughter, Reagan Wright.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
