DEXTER -- J.C. Larsen, 89, died Sept. 18, 2012, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born April 15, 1923, in Dexter to the late Everett and Geneva Coburn Larsen, he was a retired farmer. He was a 66-year member of the Liberty Hill Church where he served as a deacon for 64 years.
On Nov. 17, 1945, in Piggott, Ark., he married Jane Worley, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Jackie Asberry and Becky and John Agey of Dexter; three grandchildren, Chris Asberry of Dexter, Jennifer Gray of Eureka and Autumn Turner of Piggott, Ark.; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Dees, and one brother, Gene Larsen.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Phil Warren officiating.
Burial will follow in the West Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
