SEMO student in Sept. 9 scooter accident dies

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A Southeast Missouri State University student died Thursday afternoon at a St. Louis hospital, following a Sept. 9 motor vehicle accident that left the 21-year-old senior in critical condition.

Meg Herndon of Fenton, Mo., suffered a severe brain injury when the scooter she was riding was hit by a truck at Sprigg Street and Normal Avenue.
