EAST PRAIRIE -- Darlene "Corky" Black, 68, died Sept. 21, 2012, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 20, 1944, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Charley Forest "Peewee" and Darling R. "Dot" Masterson Henry, she lived most of her life in Mississippi County, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie.
On Nov. 14, 1964, at the First Baptist Church in East Prairie, she married Otis Lawrence Black who preceded her in death on May 22, 2005.
Survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Charles "Pete" and Carolyn Henry of East Prairie; and one niece and nephew, Marsha Lynn Dunn and Steven Henry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Darla Diane Black; one niece; and one nephew.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Jim Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
