ST. LOUIS -- Earnest Williams, 81, died Sept. 20, 2012, in St. Louis.
Born in Tunica, Miss., son of Curtis and Odessa Williams, he graduated from Oran High School and worked at McDonnell Douglas before serving in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he worked at the Boeing Company which had been formed by the merger of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. Williams worked 40 years at the aircraft manufacturing companies.
He was married to Olivia Johnson.
He is survived by his children, Jeff Williams Turner, Jackie Williams,
Tony Williams, Joy Williams and Earnest Williams Jr.; three sisters, Dessie Johnson, Betty Robinson and Mary Williams; and three brothers, Elbert Williams, Charles Williams and Lee Williams.
Services are scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday at the McClendon-Teat Mortuary at 12140 New Halls Ferry Road in Florissant.
