NEW HAMBURG -- Anna Marie Brucker, 80, died Oct. 1, 2012, at the Miner Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born Dec. 27, 1931, in Gordonville, to the late Walter J. and Hazel Eakins Hennecke, she worked at Florsheim Shoe Company of Chaffee as a machine operator and for 28 years as a presser at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg and the St. Ann Sodality.
On March 1, 1949, she married Clarence J. Brucker who preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Lee Hennecke, Charles E. Hennecke and Bobby R. Hennecke.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas J. and Sheryl Brucker of New Hamburg; one daughter, Darlene A. Margrabe of Sikeston; one brother, William W. Hennecke of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Frances Hitt of Cape Girardeau, Connie Myers of Marble Hill and Donna Voorhes of Fruitland; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled at 4 p.m., with parish prayers at 7 p.m., Wednesday at the Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Rev. William Hennecke serving as celebrant and the Rev. Michael Casteel as co-celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery.
