LILBOURN -- Billie Jean Taylor, 82, died Oct. 1, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Aug. 26, 1930, in Selmer, Tenn., to the late Bill and Eula Francis Arnold Ingle, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Tyronza, Ark., and attended the Church of God in Lilbourn.
In 1946, she married J.W. Stevens who preceded her in death in 1979. On Feb. 26, 1984, she married Harvey Taylor who survives of the home.
She is also survived by: one son, Mark Stevens of Benton; one daughter, Sallie Duenne of New Madrid; two brothers, Sherman Ingle of the state of Mississippi and Sonny Ingle of Bernie; one sister, Zola Mae Scarbrough of Campbell; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, one in infancy and Rickey Taylor in 2003, two brothers, James Quinnon Ingle and Vernon Ingle, and two sisters, Willie Bateman and Georgia Blowers.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God in Lilbourn. The Rev. Jimmy Johnson, pastor of First Baptist Church in Catron, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn.
The Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
