DPS to begin issuing tickets to Sikeston businesses that did not renew business/occupational license

SIKESTON - Sikeston business owners who have failed to renew their business licenses will soon be getting a visit from local law enforcement.

The city of Sikeston Collector's Office has completed a second billing for the non-renewal of business/occupational license. Business license are due July 1 and on Sept. 1 a 10 percent penalty was assessed for those businesses which did not renew their licenses.
