CHARLESTON -- Elizabeth Kimbrough, 105, formerly of Wyatt, died Oct. 7, 2012, at Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing.

Born Aug. 12, 1907, in Indianola, Miss., to the late Brent and Ida Brown, she had lived in Missouri since 1923. She was the owner-operator of Foster's Cafe in Wyatt, a foster parent for the state of Missouri for many years, a caregiver for the elderly and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Mound City, Ill.

She married Matt Kimbrough who preceded her in death.

Three sons, Archie Carney, Donald Carney and Calvin Longmire, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Visitation is scheduled from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Darren Horrell, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
