SIKESTON -- Betty Jane Sides Hill, 79, died Oct. 17, 2012, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
Born April 22, 1933, at Blytheville, Ark., to the late Bob and Lillie Lovelace Sides, she had lived in Sikeston most of her life.
On July 28, 1951, she married Paul Edward Hill who preceded her in death in March 1997.
She was also preceded in death by one son, David Michael Hill, one daughter, Catherine Diana Hill, one sister, Helen Dye, and one great-granddaughter.
Surviving are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Gregory "Greg" and Joy Hill of Jackson and Steven Robert and Kathy Hill of Rogers, Ark.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Lynn and Dan Schuchart of Bloomfield, Camilla Jane and Jere Sides of Charleston, Teresa Dawn "Tere" and Dennis Nations of Festus and Dana Michelle and Brian Alexander of Hillsboro; one brother, James Sides of Sun City, Calif.; and 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at p.m. Friday with Rodney Dunlap, pastor of the Abundant Life in Christ Church of Charleston, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
