COLUMBIA -- Several Southeast Missouri communities will benefit from grant funds provided through Rural Development.
"These grants will enable communities to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors," State Director Anita J. (Janie) Dunning said in announcing the awarding of funds totaling $165,010. "With the funds, the communities can provide better communications, advanced public warnings, greater public safety and quicker clean-up when disasters strike."
