SIKESTON -- It will be a totally different experience for those looking for spooks at the Sikeston Jaycee Rodeo Grounds this year.

"This year, we changed the name to the Haunted Acres and did away with the hayride," said Kris Eastwood, who is co-coordinating the event this year. "It's now more of a walk through, allowing people to interact more with all of the scenes."

The Haunted Acres begins tonight and continues Saturday and Oct. 26 at the rodeo grounds. Admission is $10 per person, and those who bring a can of food to donate will receive $2 off their ticket price, with a limit of one can per visitor. Hours are 8 p.m. to midnight each night.
