SIKESTON - Some 10 people were arrested, including two on charges of assault, following an investigation into a shooting on Saturday.
Tyrussell L. Davis, 19, of St. Louis and Dewayne Harris Jr., 21, of Sikeston are each charged with two counts of first degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. They are being held in the Scott County Jail with bond set at $100,000.
According to Lt. Jim McMillen, public information officer with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, about 1 p.m. Friday, Harris reported he was driving on Alabama near Roberta Rowe Park when six shots were fired at his car from a dark vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
