Arraignment set in Mississippi County theft

CHARLESTON -- An attempt to literally leave a woman without her wheels has landed a Charleston man in jail.

Gregory DeWayne Davis, 51, will be arraigned Wednesday on charges of theft and tampering with a motor vehicle. He is currently being held at the Mississippi County Detention Center with bond set at $50,000.

According to a report, a Wyatt woman told officers she heard a noise outside her residence.
