Bids for new lights, poles at Complex approved

SIKESTON -- It is out with the old and in with the new for lighting at the Sikeston Sports and Recreation Complex.

The Sikeston City Council approved during a special meeting Monday bids for new lights including poles along with foundations to hold the new poles.

Jiggs Moore, parks division director, said the city received four bids on lighting for the field used by the Sikeston Senior High School softball team and an adjacent soccer field.
