NEWTOWN, Pa. -- Buford Baldwin Baber Jr., 80, died Oct. 28, 2012.
Born Dec. 25, 1931, in Sikeston, Mo., to the late Buford Baldwin Baber Sr. and Margaret Baker Baber, he received a Bachelor of Science in agriculture, a master's in counseling and a doctorate in counseling psychology and student personnel administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was an Eagle Scout and served as director of Student Financial Aid at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 1978 to 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Baber of Newtown; a son, Buford Baldwin Baber III of Tahlequah, Okla.; a daughter, Lyn Baber of Loughton, Essex, UK; a stepdaughter, Amy Otey of Ewing, N.J.; a stepson, Adam Skelton of Gainesville, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
No services will be conducted.
