BLOOMFIELD - Roy G. Kunkle Jr., 83, died Nov. 5, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 14, 1928, in Hyde Park, Penn., son of the late Roy G. and Mildred Baker Kunkle Sr. he had lived Michigan for over 40 years and moved to Bloomfield in 1995. He had worked at Schriber Manufacturing as a machinist and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On Feb. 6, 1953, in Piggott, Ark., he married Cora Rinehart, who survives of Bloomfield.
Also surviving are: one son, Roy G. Kunkle, III of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Jo Ann Lewellen of Minot, N.D. and Linda Shelton of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Evelyn Clough of Trenton, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Claudia Glaser and Marsha Salisbury; two brothers, Charles and Bill Kunkle; and one sister, Isabelle Stroup.
There are no services scheduled.
Burial will be in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
