CHARLESTON -- Larry Martin "Marty" Hedge, 50, died Nov. 3, 2012, at his sister's home in Charleston.
Born June 6, 1962, at Wyatt, to Bertha Vinson of Charleston and the late Melvin Curtis Hedge, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life and had been employed as a mechanic for Emmett Groves.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: his children, Kara Hedge, Kasey Hedge and Keith Hedge of St. Clair, Bridgette Martinez of Sikeston, Richard Bone of Murphysboro, Ill., Curtis Hedge and Heaven Taylor of Wyatt and Jerrica Taylor of East Prairie; one brother, David Hedge of Marion, Ill.; four sisters, Sheila Vinson, Rhonda Passley, Kimberly Riley and Katina Housman of Charleston; and 23 grandchildren.
Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Karen Regina Hedge, and one granddaughter, Harley Lyn Hedge.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Winston Williford of Cape Girardeau will officiate.
Pallbearers will be: Darrell Riley, Marcus Teague, A.J. Groves, Christopher Vinson, Joel Foster and Brandon Groves.
Honorary pallbearers will be Heath, Clay and Leroy.
