MORLEY -- M. Maxine McBride, 88, died Nov. 7, 2012, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Born June 28, 1924, in Des Arc, Ark., to the late William Claude and Lena Bambridge Burson, she was retired owner-operator of McBride Flower Shop in Chaffee and also worked for various floral shops in the area. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarkton.
In December 1943, in Osceola, Ark., she married Edward "Gene" McBride, who preceded her in death April 13, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Danny Neal and Ronnie Gene, and three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Susie McBride of Vanduser; one daughter, Carolyn McBride of Morley; one brother, Ralph Burson of Campbell; and seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Larry Jackson will officiate.
Burial will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
