PLANO, Texas -- Sue Barr Davis, 95, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Nov. 10, 2012, at Plano.
Born Jan. 12, 1917, in Maryville, Tenn., to the late Oscar and Lucy Henderson Barr, she was a nurse for most of her life, first at a hospital and later working with her husband. She was a member of First Assembly of God and a former member of First United Methodist Church in Charleston.
On May 27, 1939, in Maryville, Tenn., she married Dr. Wilbur L. Davis who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Bowman.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Ed Suiter of Plano; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lavonda Davis of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Penn will officiate.
Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery at Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Joey Marshall, Mark Davis, Nino Arzon, Reid Miller, Bill Brewer, Buz Sutherland, Emmett Burke and Taylor Burke.
