SIKESTON -- Johnny Albert Kestner, 67, died Nov. 14, 2012, at his home following a two-year battle with cancer.
Born Oct. 19, 1945 in East Prairie, to the late John and Alta Moreland Kestner, he was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He had been a cross-country truck driver for Delta Express until ill health forced his retirement.
On July 2, 1981, he married Jeanne Seabaugh, and she survives of the home.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Ryann Seabaugh of Sikeston; and the joy of his life, his grandsons, Kyler, Gavin, Rylan and Jacob. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister-in-law, Franklin D. and Treva Kestner and Jerry Kestner; and his mother-in-law, LaVerne Cunningham.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Kestner; and his father-in-law, Eugene Cunningham.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Ponder Funeral Home.
