BENTON -- Betty Sue Pettigrew, 70, died Nov. 19, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 18, 1942, in Dorena, to the late Raymond Wayne and Edith Mattie Johnson Hannah, she was a resident caretaker for Sunshine Villa in Scott City and was of the General Baptist belief.
On June 16, 1962, in Charleston, she married Harry Quertermous.
She is survived by: three daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Gary Henderson of Olive Branch, Ill., Linda and John White of Fredericktown and LaDonna and Don Rainey of Benton; three brothers, the Rev. Raymond Hannah of East Prairie, Larry Hannah of Kane, Ill., and Bobby Hannah of Fayetteville, Ill.; four sisters, Mary Garner of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Askins of Fredericktown, Fredia Ferguson of DeSoto and Dorothy Silkwood of Piedmont; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Larry Rouse officiating.
Private burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
