JACKSON -- Forrest H. Jackson, 79, died Nov. 21, 2012, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 13, 1933, in Bell City, to the late Tom and Myrtle Jackson, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Jackson, and a sister, Jewel Elsperman.
He is survived by: his wife, Edith Jackson; three sons, Jeff Jackson of Jackson, Robert Jackson of St. Louis and Dale Jackson of Dexter; one brother, Joe Jackson of Sikeston; five sisters, Dorothy Bryeans of Oran, Frances Sanders of Cape Girardeau, Wanda Schwartz and Jan Hillman of Scott City and Betty Lentz of Sikeston; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton with the Rev. Kevin Mills officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow at noon in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
