LILBOURN -- Tony Michael Sullenger, 72, died Nov. 23, 2012, at The Med Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born April 17, 1940, to the late Herman and Helen Looney Sullenger, Tony was a member of American Legion Post No. 595 and was commander of the Honor Guard for many years.
He married Jane Kay Denning who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Ellen Sullenger of Lilbourn and Timothy and Sherrie Sullenger of New Madrid; two sisters, Lena Simpson of New Madrid and Goldie Sullenger Hahs of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Tim Sullenger of Lilbourn; and three grandchildren, Taylor Sullenger, Trey Michael Sullenger and Tabitha Danyel Sullenger.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Webb Manley will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
