Two Mississippi County residents set to appear before officials for nuisiance ordinance violations


CHARLESTON -- Two Mississippi County residents are scheduled to appear before the County Commission for county nuisance ordinance violations.

Ken Stevenson, county code enforcement officer, updated commissioners on property complaints during the regular County Commission meeting Thursday.

The residents of two properties where Stevenson has responded to complaints of the properties not being in compliance with the county nuisance ordinance violations for some time are scheduled to appear for a hearing at 10 a.m. Thursday during next week's County Commission meeting.
