SIKESTON -- The Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority has been clearing -- and will continue to clear -- blighted properties. But board members are ready to see results from development efforts.

"Right now we're actively working on a plan for redevelopment so that we can sell the vacant properties to people that are interested in constructing owner-occupied homes," said Dan Marshall, chairman of the LCRA commission.
