Plenty of gift options available for seniors

SIKESTON -- With the holiday shopping season well under way, some may be scratching their heads when it comes to finding the perfect gift for a group of people who seemingly have everything they need -- senior citizens.

But some local senior citizens as well as others who work with the older population said there are plenty of gift options out there.

For 85-year-old Lou Armour of Sikeston, jewelry is a good choice for women.

"Anything that's pretty and fancy," said Armour said.

She suggested a charm bracelet or earrings.
