SIKESTON -- Clyde C. Fodge, 85, died Dec. 16, 2012, at his home.
Born April 9, 1927, in Matthews, to the late John D. and Gertrude Carson Fodge, he retired from Triangle PWC, was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II and was of the Christian belief.
On March 9, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., he married Geraldine Cunningham who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Connie Fodge and Rick and Cindy Fodge of Sikeston; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Carol and John Bailey of Cape Girardeau, Libby and Mike Merideth, Sherri and Steve Clark, Carmel and Bruce Savat and Gail and Freddie Gilliland of Sikeston and Jerry Jean Saunders of Carson City, Nev.; 31 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Fodge, and one sister, two brothers and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. The Rev. Robert R. Belyew will officiate.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
