First snow

Bootheel residents dig out


SIKESTON -- Nine-year-old Bryce Morgan of Benton said he was expecting snow when he woke up Wednesday morning. He just didn't know how much.

The night before Bryce had heard family members discussing a blizzard warning for the region, which was issued by the National Weather Service in Paducah, Ky.

This was good because it meant there would be snow, Bryce said.
