MORLEY -- Ralph "Pete" Williams, 87, died Jan. 10, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 9, 1925, in Morley, to the late Harry Albert and Alice Dickerson Williams, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired construction inspector for the Missouri Department of Transportation and a member of the Morley Baptist Church.
On May 13, 1961, he married Jeannie E. Keefer, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Brent Powell of Benton, Sheila and Derek Mills of Vanduser and Tracy and Dickie Jordan of East Prairie; one sister, Nola Curtis of Little Rock, Ark.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Monday at the Morley Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Danny Jones and the Rev. Larry Jackson.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
