SIKESTON -- Local auto collision repair students are working to put a Stoddard County patrol car back in commission.
Justin Todt, instructor of the auto collision class at Sikeston Career and Technology Center, said his students are getting a lot of hands-on experience as they work to repaint a decommissioned patrol car from the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department.
"Stoddard County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Tommy Horton called Dexter High School and wondered if Dexter had a collision program, but they send their students to us," Todt said.
