Multiple gun, drug charges are filed

CHARLESTON -- An Anniston man will be in court Wednesday to face multiple illegal drug and weapon charges.

Arraignment for Herman A. Duty, 48, is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Wednesday before Mississippi County Judge T. Lynn Brown. Duty is charged with distribution of a controlled substance near a city park, 22 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a methamphetamine precursor with intent to manufacture, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics.
