CHAFFEE -- Wanda Lee Burton, 78, died Jan. 17, 2013, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
Born Aug. 9, 1934, in Frostburg, Md., to the late Carl and Hazel Lashbaugh Folk, she worked at the Hat Factory in Oran before retiring as a machine operator from Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee.
On July 16, 1953, she married Junior Lee Burton, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1992.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a granddaughter.
Survivors include: three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joey Burton, Junior Lee Burton and Chris and Sherri Burton of Chaffee; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shelby Jean Sullivan of Matthews and Susan and David Slinkard of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Jack Folk and William Folk of Frostburg; one sister, Carol Bauman of Frostburg; and 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Glenn A. Rogers officiating.
Burial will follow at Matthews City Cemetery in Matthews.
