SIKESTON -- He knows the history of Sikeston and about the arts, and she has experience working at a national historic landmark.
Together, new Sikeston Depot Museum administrative director Shari Bartyzel and program director Lynn Lancaster are leading the museum through one of its biggest changes in recent years -- the departure of longtime director Mike Marsh, who is moving with his wife, Pat, to Springfield.
Wednesday marked Marsh's last official day with the museum so today Bartyzel and Lancaster begin their new roles.
"I've always been interested in history," said Bartyzel, who began volunteering at the Depot about a year and a half ago.
